What is YEIDA map approval?
YEIDA map approval is mandatory sanction of your proposed building plan by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority before construction begins. Without it, any construction is illegal and can be demolished.
Who needs YEIDA approval?
- Any new construction on a YEIDA-allotted plot
- Any addition to existing construction (additional floor, extension)
- Any major modification to existing external structure
- Commercial development on commercial plots
- Farmhouse construction on larger plots
Internal renovations that don’t change external structure typically don’t need YEIDA approval (though society-level may).
